Kyle Funn is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he advises private and public companies and venture capital and private equity funds in a variety of corporate and securities law matters. His practice focuses on entity formation, equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities compliance, and general corporate representation.
Prior to joining the firm, Kyle was a corporate associate at Cypress LLP in Los Angeles, where he provided broad-based corporate representation to start-up and private growth companies and private equity firms in a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, financial services, entertainment and media, and manufacturing.
Before attending law school, Kyle worked at SoundExchange, Inc., the entity designated to collect and distribute statutory sound recording royalties, where he managed the company’s overall licensing and enforcement efforts, assisted in managing Copyright Royalty Board proceedings, and participated in various other operational aspects of the company. He has also performed professionally as a musician.
