
Kyle G. Manikas began his legal career practicing litigation in New York, New York and Washington, D.C. defending individuals and large corporations during the corporate scandals that began surfacing in 2001.
The large, international firm that Mr. Manikas was with was retained as lead counsel for Enron, Global Crossing, WorldCom, and other corporations after those companies found themselves at the center of allegations of fraud, corruption, and unethical behavior.
Mr. Manikas also defended major international and national corporations involved in personal injury litigation. After representing some of the largest companies in the United States and their executives in high profile matters, Mr. Manikas accepted a position as a prosecutor in Northern Virginia.
Mr. Manikas handled over 900 felony cases ranging from white collar offenses, involving embezzlement and other forms of fraud and theft, to the most serious of crimes, including murder, aggravated malicious wounding, bank robbery, and drug distribution. Mr. Manikas also handled thousands of DWI, reckless driving, and other motor vehicle offenses.
Mr. Manikas subsequently re-entered private practice and founded Manikas Law LLC. Utilizing the wealth of knowledge and experience obtained as a prosecutor, and the legal crisis management skills Mr. Manikas developed defending large corporations in criminal and personal injury matters.

Mr. Manikas also served as legal counsel to the Fairfax County Police Association and the approximately 1400 active and retired police officers that are members of that organization. Mr. Manikas responded to numerous use of force incidents to provide legal counsel to involved officers and advised the board of directors on various legal matters.
