At Taylor English, Kyle Baker focuses his practice on complex business and commercial disputes, banking and lending litigation, business licensing, alcohol sales licensing, as well as catastrophic personal injury litigation.
In addition, Mr. Baker has experience in the coordination and management of discovery in complex, document-intensive matters, including electronic discovery.
Mr. Baker has a wide range of experience litigating cases in federal, state and appellate courts, with significant experience pursuing actions to collect on promissory notes, guaranties, and other evidence of indebtedness. He also has prosecuted numerous actions to confirm foreclosure sales.
Mr. Baker has experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration pursuant to the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial Rules.
Mr. Baker is a member of Taylor English’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy groups, as well as Taylor English’s Restaurants, Food and Beverage group, where he has experience representing clients with licensing and permit applications and violations.
Mr. Baker was raised in the Atlanta area and received his JD from the University of Louisville’s Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, where he was vice president of the Moot Court Board.
He received a BA in Risk Management and Insurance from the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, racquetball, golf and swimming, as well as traveling.
