Kyle Mach

Kyle W. Mach is a partner in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson who concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation. He has extensive experience in antitrust matters, but his practice also includes mass tort litigation, securities, commercial litigation, and other areas.

He has represented domestic and foreign clients throughout the U.S. and has also assisted clients facing regulatory inquiries in the European Union, Japan and South Korea. In his active pro bono practice, Mr. Mach has successfully represented civil rights plaintiffs in several federal court proceedings. Mr. Mach is also active in the San Francisco legal community. Among other activities, he is the former Chair of the International Law Section for the Bar Association of San Francisco.

Mr. Mach graduated magna cum laude in 2006 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he won the university’s highest moot court competition and was also given the prize for the year’s best individual moot court performance.

He also was an H. Clayton Louderback Legal Writing Instructor and was awarded the Fred G. Leebron Memorial Prize for the law school’s best writing in the field of Constitutional Law. While at Penn, Mr. Mach also earned a certificate of study in business and public policy from the Wharton School of Business.

Prior to joining Munger Tolles in June 2011, Mr. Mach was associated with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York City and was a law clerk to the Honorable Ronald M. Gould on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Seattle.
