Lars Evensen

With experience as an engineer and project manager for CH2MHill, Lars Evensen has an intimate understanding of the issues his clients face. Construction clients frequently call upon Lars for sound counsel during complex disputes. His practice encompasses construction, commercial, and bankruptcy litigation.

As a construction litigator, Lars has represented owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other construction and design professionals. He has represented clients in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and mediations.

Lars has litigated construction claims related to design defect, errors and omission, delay, disruption, inefficiency, acceleration, wrongful termination, cardinal change, constructive change, wrongful termination, constructional defect, prompt payment issues, and mechanic’s lien claims.

He has also represented clients in bid protest proceedings, State Contractors Board licensure disputes, and code compliance issues. In addition to litigation, he has assisted contractors and design professionals to prepare and negotiate contracts for services as well as assisted owners in preparing contract documents.

As a commercial litigator, Lars has represented clients in real estate disputes, business tort actions, contract disputes, commercial paper matters, and insurance coverage claims. Lars is licensed to practice law in Nevada and the United States District Court of Nevada.
