
Laura Black is an Associate at Fragomen’s Boston office, where she provides immigration counsel to multinational corporations in the information technology and computer services industry.
She has experience assisting clients with various immigrant and nonimmigrant matters, including employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions (e.g., H-1B and L visas), as well as PERM-based immigrant petitions.
Laura has filed naturalization applications on behalf of pro bono clients seeking U.S. citizenship, and has filed Adjustment of Status applications on behalf of asylees seeking lawful permanent residence in the United States.
Laura also regularly volunteers her time helping individuals complete their naturalization applications through Project Citizenship. During law school, Laura earned Suffolk University’s Pro Bono Honors distinction for completing voluntary legal work.
