Laura Fauber is an associate in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati’s employment and trade secrets litigation practices. Laura has extensive experience defending employers in federal and state litigation and administrative agency proceedings in both single-plaintiff and class action litigation.
She has represented clients across a wide variety of employment-related matters, including employee misclassification and other wage and hour issues, discrimination (including age, disability, race, national origin, sex, and sexual orientation), harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and ERISA.
Laura also has experience counseling employers on issues such as hiring practices, employment policies and contracts, terminations and reductions in force, internal investigations, leave laws, trade secrets and employee mobility, and covenants not to compete, as well as other issues that arise under federal, state, or local labor and employment laws.
She has reviewed and drafted numerous employment and separation agreements, employee handbooks, and employment policies, including social media, vacation, and leave policies. Prior to joining the firm, Laura was an associate in the labor and employment group at Arnold & Porter LLP in San Francisco.
During law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark Wolf of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and as an intern at the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center in San Francisco and at two Boston law firms.
