Laura Grubb Sandman is an associate in the firm’s Dallas office, where she advises and represents companies in a broad range of labor and employment matters including wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and accommodation matters.
Laura’s experience spans multiple industries with a focus on the hospitality industry, restaurants, manufacturing, and private equity firms. Laura has defended clients in Department of Labor investigations, and provides day-to-day advice and counsel on designing and implementing proactive policies to assist employers in minimizing their exposure under various labor and employment laws, including tip credit and tip pooling issues.
Laura has appeared before courts in discrimination, harassment and retaliation cases, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in a wide variety of matters, including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination and additional issues under the American with Disabilities Act and Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
