Laura Klick advises foreign and domestic clients on a variety of international trade regulatory and policy matters. She has advised clients in developing or revising compliance policies and procedures to meet the demands of an ever-shifting regulatory environment; conducting due diligence; and obtaining licenses from the US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Laura regularly counsels clients on compliance, licensing and enforcement matters before the US Department of the Treasury and US Department of State, and she assists clients in understanding and navigating the complex regulatory regime governing trade and investment in countries such as Iran, Ukraine, Russia, North Korea and Cuba.
In addition, Laura represents foreign sovereigns and multinational corporations in foreign policy-related matters involving the US Congress.
