Laura Faussié received her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan cum laude in 1993. She received her B.A. from Wheaton College magna cum laude in 1988. Her practice is concentrated in corporate, commercial, real estate, banking and products liability litigation.
In addition, Laura has extensive experience in commercial transaction matters, including mortgage portfolio purchase/sales and related due diligence and contract drafting. She also specializes in civil appeals in both the state and federal appellate courts.
Laura’s commercial and related litigation experience includes handling various aspects of lender/borrower disputes, business fraud cases, premises liability suits, and secured asset recoveries. In the area of products liability, she has gained substantial expertise in mass tort and complex litigation, and in multidistrict litigation.
