Laura Voegeli is an Associate with Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd. She concentrates her practice in the areas of immigration and nationality matters. These include family-based immigration issues, naturalization, asylum, U visa, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival applications.
Ms. Voegeli represents clients in removal proceedings before the Department of Homeland Security, including clients with various criminal issues. Ms. Voegeli graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in May 2018. During law school, Ms. Voegeli interned at LAF in immigration and employment, and at the Immigrant Justice Clinic, focusing on humanitarian immigration relief.
Ms. Voegeli also interned at Gingras, Cates & Wachs, a plaintiff side personal injury firm, the Wisconsin Innocence Project, and as an intern for Judge Kloppenburg at the Wisconsin Court of Appeals. Ms. Voegeli completed over 100 hours of pro bono work including both immigration and criminal law.
