
Lauren C. Barnett is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Barnett clerked for Judge Sandra S. Ikuta of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Barnett earned her J.D. with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was the executive editor of The University of Chicago Law Review and served as a research assistant to Judge Richard Posner and Professor William Landes.
Ms. Barnett was elected to the Order of the Coif and was selected as a Kirkland and Ellis Scholar. She was also awarded the Sidley Austin Prize for brief writing. Ms. Barnett received her A.B., magna cum laude, from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
Before entering law school, Ms. Barnett was a senior analyst at Cornerstone Research in New York, where she provided economic analysis to expert witnesses in commercial litigation.
