As the energy industry rapidly evolves in the United States, Lauren Cabral enjoys helping clients navigate the field’s changing regulatory and legal landscape to achieve their goals.
Texas is at the heart of so much of the nation’s energy – be it natural gas and oil, or massive wind farms and acres of solar panels.
Lauren feels at home in this realm, knowing the many benefits renewable and low-cost energy can provide. Lauren focuses her practice on many aspects of the energy industry, including regulatory matters for electric utilities and real estate elements of renewable energy projects.
Her practice is informed by her previous experience as a summer associate at the firm and as a legal intern for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). Lauren also served as a corporate immigration paralegal for a law firm in New York, as a student attorney ad litem for the University of Texas School of Law’s Children’s Rights Clinic, and as a law clerk for the Texas Association of School Boards.
Additionally, she has worked as a newspaper reporter and as an editorial assistant for a website, and has written for the University of Alabama’s Alabama Alumni Magazine.
