Lauren Hulse is a native of Colorado with over a decade of experience practicing law. She started her legal career working for two District Court Judges. She served as a fellow to them in Douglas and Arapahoe Counties.
Upon the completion of her fellowship, she started work as an associate attorney at a big firm in Colorado Springs. Later she was employed in a big law firm based in Denver working as a senior associate attorney.
The sole focus of both firms was on matters of family law. In 2014, Lauren started the Hulse Law Firm to offer qualitative individualized legal services to clients with issues in family law and matters relating to estate planning.
Attorney Hulse was chosen in 2017, as a Rising Star with Super Lawyers for her achievements in family law.
Lauren Hulse currently chairs the Membership Committee of the Alliance of Professional Women. She is an active member of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, family law section, and 18th Judicial Bar Association.
Ms Hulse received her Bachelor of Arts in 2005 from the University of San Diego. In 2008, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver. As a student at DU, she received the Scholastic Excellence Award. She was chosen by her professors to be a Teacher’s Assistant for a legal writing course. She was also selected to be a Research Assistant on the topic of juror’s motives.
During the period of her fellowship, Lauren gained extensive experience as she witnessed cases in the light of Judges’ perspectives. She often employs this experience to direct her clients in drafting of hearings and obtaining favorable settlements.
Over the course of six years, Lauren has litigated for more than 300 clients on matters of family law including cases of divorce with difficulty in asset division, parenting time scheduling, modifying child support and parenting time, issues of contempt, restraining orders, appellate matters, dependency and neglect matters and adoptions.
Ms. Hulse strongly believes that if a just and proper settlement can be obtained, it is the best option for the client, the client’s future co-parenting relationship, and the children.
But, if a just settlement cannot b obtained, Lauren is prepared to litigate any issues in the bid to secure her client’s assets. And to make sure that any judicial orders that is in the best interests of the children are sought in the Court of Law.
