Lauren Macon is a senior associate in the firm’s Securities Litigation Group. Her practice focuses primarily on securities fraud actions, shareholder derivative suits, corporate investigations and other complex commercial litigation.
Lauren was honored with the 2015 Burton Award for Legal Achievement for co-authoring “Cybersecurity: What Directors Need to Know in an Era of Increased Scrutiny.”
Lauren received her J.D., with high honors, in 2013 from the University of North Carolina School of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
While in law school, Lauren was an editor for the North Carolina Law Review and interned for the Honorable Justice Paul Martin Newby of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Lauren completed her undergraduate studies in 2009 at the University of North Carolina.
