Lauren E. Waxler is a fierce litigator with industry experience. Lauren concentrates her practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on the transportation industry. She especially enjoys diving into the technical aspects of clients’ businesses and relevant laws.
Clients have commented that, among attorneys they work with, she is among the most prepared. Lauren began her legal career perfecting clear and impactful writing skills and research capabilities as a law clerk for federal judges.
She knew litigation inside and out before moving on to a position with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), where she managed enforcement cases and defended the agency in employment suits. Working on both sides of cases showed her effective strategies for both plaintiff and defendant, and how to build strong cases.
Her FAA role also gave Lauren an inside view on the defense work of in-house counsel, as well as an understanding of how enforcement agencies think, especially in the transportation sector. She now brings this insight to clients.
