Lawrence F. Walker is a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Subrogation and Recovery Department. Larry primarily investigates and prosecutes cases involving fire, water, and construction defects resulting in significant property damage and losses.
Where third-party tortfeasors are responsible and meaningful opportunities for recovery exist, Larry prosecutes claims in an effort to recover the monies paid for repairs, emergency expenses, damaged personal and business property, and lost income.
Larry has tried numerous such cases to verdict and arbitration awards during his years of practice. Larry also represents contractors and builders in condominium transition and defense matters involving allegations of construction defects. Larry’s experience as a plaintiff’s attorney provides a unique perspective for his defense clients.
Larry received his Bachelor of Science from Penn State University in 1993. Larry received his J.D. in 2001 from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden while working full-time as a claims handler for a prominent insurer. Larry is also an active member of his community. Larry is a trustee of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation and his local swim club.
