Leland L. Black focuses her practice on patent prosecution and counseling primarily in the fields of chemistry and life sciences. Dr. Black worked with the firm as a summer associate in 2016. While attending law school, she was a Staff Member and Articles Editor for the North Carolina Law Review and served as a legal extern at RTI International.
Before launching her legal career, Dr. Black conducted research in the medical sciences, including molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, virology, and immunology.
