Leonard C. Jacoby’s practice focuses on intellectual property and technology transactions. He has extensive experience representing public and private companies in complex, global business deals that involve intellectual property rights, products and technology.
Len helps clients structure and negotiate transactions, including strategic collaborations, joint ventures, licenses, research and development agreements, and manufacturing and distribution agreements. He also advises companies, investment banks and private equity firms on the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, investments and public offerings. His diverse industry experience includes financial services, software, IT and communication technology, consumer products and life sciences.
Len joined Cleary Gottlieb as a partner in 2007. Before joining the firm, he was a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
