Levi J. Giovanetto represents corporate and individual clients facing government inquiries, conducting internal investigations and handling complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Levi handled government investigations including SEC enforcement matters, internal investigations, securities litigation and class action lawsuits.
He also helped to achieve significant pro bono victories for clients, including a favorable settlement in a civil rights lawsuit brought under 52 U.S.C. § 1983 on behalf of students in Mobile, Alabama.
Levi is a contributor to the firm’s SEC Law Perspectives Blog, which provides reports, discussions, and analyses on noteworthy trends in enforcement and regulatory activity of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other agencies, such as the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
While in law school, Levi was a part of the Mandel Legal Aide Clinic’s Mental Health Project representing individuals with severe mental illness.
