Ms. Lina M. Soler is an experienced attorney in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. Her areas of practice include civil law, bankruptcy, collections, and foreclosure in Federal and State Courts.
She has represented secured creditors and debtors in possession various Chapter 7 and 13 Bankruptcy cases. She bases her multidisciplinary approach on her acquaintance with different legal models and academic disciplines.
Ms. Soler graduated from the University of Puerto Rico’s Law School joint JD/MA program, which enables students to pursue an integral preparation that combines both the financial and the legal disciplines. As a part of this experience, she wrote and published a thesis about the practice of bankruptcy law.
She took courses in administrative, civil and international private law in the University of Barcelona Law School. This exposure to different legal systems has enhanced her understanding of the interplay between public and private regulation.
