
Linda Bailey focuses her practice on civil litigation, with a particular focus on national defense and foreign relations litigation, white-collar criminal defense, appellate, and administrative law. She has obtained favorable settlements or dismissals on behalf of clients, many of whom are defense contractors, accused of common-law tort, Alien Tort Statute, Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), and the False Claims Act. Linda has also assisted in representations for individuals subject to criminal investigations for weapons, antitrust, fraud, securities, FDA, and FCPA violations.
Linda has worked on appeals in the Third, Fourth, Ninth, Federal, and DC Circuits regarding issues of administrative law, patent law, immunity, and constitutional law involving a variety of administrative agencies, including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Bureau of Land Management, and the Food and Drug Administration.
She has also worked on several petitions for certiorari and oppositions to certiorari before the Supreme Court on matters involving the Speech or Debate Clause, Kastigar immunity, and bankruptcy issues.
