Lindsey Gabrielsen Ross is an associate and health care lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm’s Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations Practice and Health Care Industry Team.
Her practice focuses on serving clients in the health care industry, including hospitals, academic medical centers, physician organizations, post-acute care providers, and other health care entities, with respect to a wide range of health care regulatory, compliance, and corporate matters, government investigations and audits, and internal investigations.
Lindsey’s experience includes counseling health care clients on regulatory compliance matters, including state and federal fraud and abuse issues, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and compliance, and state licensure, certificate of need, and change of ownership issues.
She has managed Stark and Anti-Kickback internal investigations for health care providers, assisted clients with responses to government investigations and audits, and provided legal analyses for provider self-disclosures and repayments.
Lindsey has also assisted health care providers with the development, implementation, and ongoing assessment of compliance programs, including implementation of compliance obligations pursuant to corporate integrity agreements (CIAs) with the Office of Inspector General. Furthermore, Lindsey has experience assisting clients with the preparation and review of hospital, physician, and other provider contracts, as well as managed care contracts.
Previously, Lindsey was a summer associate with Foley, where she assisted attorneys with a range of health care regulatory compliance matters. Lindsey also served as a legal intern in the General Counsel’s Office of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services in Boston and worked as a health law intern for the Harvard Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation.
Lindsey graduated from Boston University School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2014), where she was managing editor of the American Journal of Law & Medicine and a member of the Health Law Association.
She jointly earned her master’s in public health from Boston University School of Public Health, with a concentration in health law, bioethics, and human rights (M.P.H., 2015). Additionally, she earned her undergraduate degree in honors philosophy and English from Boston College, School of Arts and Science (B.A., magna cum laude, 2011).
