Ms. Ryder’s experience includes advising clients with issues related to employee hiring practices, counseling, discipline and termination, as well as maintaining compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding employment discrimination and employee rights and benefits, such as Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, as well as regulations promulgated under the ADA and ADEA.

Ms. Ryder also assists clients by drafting and reviewing employment policies, employee handbooks, and employment contracts and by creating employee training videos and materials and conducting training seminars related to employment discrimination and other related labor topics.

Ms. Ryder provides employers assistance with preparing for and participating in collective bargaining negotiations, grievance and arbitration hearings, unfair labor practice charges, and unit clarification petitions before Public Employee Relations Comission.

Ms. Ryder is a member of the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Broward County Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ryder graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, and began her practice in the labor and employment law field at the Law Offices of Paul T. Ryder, Jr., P.A.
