Lisa A. Samuth designs and prepares foundational estate plans and comprehensive multi-generational estate plans for individuals, families, and business owners. She understands that listening to each client’s unique life circumstances and wishes is essential to properly assisting them with identifying and achieving their estate and gift planning goals.
Lisa takes pride in establishing quality relationships with her clients, both professionally and personally, and collaborating with her client’s tax and financial professionals, in order to create a custom and successful estate plan.
Lisa also advises clients in estate administration matters, including counseling clients of portability and disclaimer elections, fiduciary duties and obligations, conflicts of interest, sub-trust funding, and tax matters. She also prepares federal estate tax returns.
Lisa is sensitive to the fact that during the estate administration process clients have lost a spouse, parent, family member or friend, and such a loss has a significant personal impact on the survivors.
Therefore, she is committed to providing valuable legal guidance and being compassionate during the administration process, whether it’s navigating probate court proceedings or assisting with the administration of trusts.
Lisa has lectured extensively on estate planning and was a monthly host of a weekly radio show program about trust and estate matters. She also served a three-year term on the board for the La Jolla Probate Section. In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling and relaxing with her husband and two children.
