Lisa Brook

Lisa Brook is dedicated to providing excellent legal representation to clients who have been in a serious accident or suffered an injury due to the negligence of others. Over the course of a twenty-two year career in civil litigation.

Lisa Brook has helped clients in a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, wrongful death, permanent disability, and slip and fall.

With success in courtrooms throughout Virginia, Lisa Brook has maintained an active trial practice and provided compassionate, dependable service to clients in diverse areas of the law.

Lisa started her career in Tidewater Virginia, helping victims of asbestos exposure recover millions for by preparing thousands of cases in state and federal court for trial and settlement resolution.

Upon relocating to Charlottesville, Virginia in 1999, Lisa transitioned to working with creditors and lenders and making court appearances in General District and Circuit Courts throughout Central and Western Virginia.

After opening a solo practice in 2010, Lisa expanded her practice to advocate for victims of injury. Lisa joined MichieHamlett PLLC in 2015 to focus exclusively on helping injured plaintiffs understand their rights and pursue justice.

Lisa Brook has been an active member of the Virginia State Bar since 1993, and is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.

She received her law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
