Representing organizations in both the public and private sector, Lisa E. Maurer has advised local governments, conduit issuers, non-profits and business entities in various public financing projects.
In addition, she previously worked as an underwriter’s counsel to several national, regional and local investment banking firms, advising them on projects involving single family housing and cash flow programs and financings of utility revenues, sales and hotel occupancy taxes and student loans.
Lisa’s former position as a corporate counsel and program administrator for a brokerage firm enriched her insight into the financial services realm, working capital programs and the budgetary processes of local governments.
She also held positions at the University of New Orleans Research and Technology Foundation, Inc., serving as in-house counsel, director of contract management and EPA quality assurance manager.
Active with both the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association, Lisa has earned recognition as a Best Lawyer® in Public Finance by Martindale-Hubbell.
