Lisa Henneberry, chair of the firm’s global Energy & Natural Resources Practice, has extensive experience in the development, construction and operation of infrastructure projects, particularly in the energy sector.
These include handling all aspects of projects related to natural gas pipelines, power plants, renewable facilities and liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities globally, as well as the development and construction of a PET/PTA plant, an iron ore pelletizing plant and a fuel products throughput terminal. She also has extensive experience in the negotiation and arbitration of natural gas and LNG price disputes.
Lisa has significant experience representing suppliers, purchasers, transporters and shippers of natural gas, coal, coke, steam, biofuels, petrochemicals and power in the US and Mexico. She has represented natural gas suppliers in connection with US and cross-border natural gas sales contracts to serve power generation facilities in the US and Mexico.
Lisa has advised clients on short- and long-term gas sales and pooling arrangements, steel companies in the purchase of coal, development of coking facilities and wind generation assets, and energy companies in the development, construction and operation of power generation facilities, chemical plants, biofuels facilities and pipelines, including all associated input and offtake contracts throughout the Americas.
She has also worked on the development of a number of LNG facilities, as well as numerous short- and long-term capacity and LNG and gas purchase and sales arrangements in the US and Mexico.
