Lisa N. Garrett is an associate in the firm’s global energy and transactions practice. Ms. Garrett graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law and is a member of the Order of the Coif. During law school, Ms. Garrett served as an article and notes editor of the Texas Environmental Law Journal and an associate editor of Texas Law Review. Ms. Garrett was a Teaching Quizmaster for the legal writing department during her second year of law school.
Her student article, titled “Wind in the Wild West to Wind in the Midwest: How Iowa and Nebraska Could Implement Texas Strategies to Increase Installed Wind Capacity,” was published in the Texas Environmental Law Journal.Following graduation, Ms. Garrett served as a law clerk for the Honorable Justice Thomas D. Waterman of the Supreme Court of Iowa.
