Lisa Coyle has over ten years of experience representing financial institutions, domestic and international corporations, foreign sovereigns, and individuals in a broad array of complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters, including cases arising under the federal securities, bankruptcy, privacy, antitrust, and anti-discrimination laws, as well as fiduciary duty, shareholder derivative, business tort, contract, and employment discrimination and harassment cases arising under state law.
Lisa has substantial experience representing clients in litigation arising out of corporate transactions, as well as regulatory and internal investigations and proceedings. She also frequently advises clients in connection with pre-litigation dispute resolution.
Lisa works closely with clients to devise, develop, and implement novel and creative solutions to complex problems and litigation strategies designed to achieve the client’s business objectives.
Lisa has defended and prosecuted numerous claims in a wide range of jurisdictions, including the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association, the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, the Delaware Court of Chancery, and a wide range of federal district courts, bankruptcy courts, and appellate courts.
Prior to joining Robins Kaplan, Lisa was a litigation associate in the New York office of a large international law firm.
