Lisa C. Smith is a Senior Staff Attorney with the firm’s E-Discovery practice, King & Spalding’s solution to providing cost-effective and centralized discovery services. Her practice focuses on electronic discovery issues, particularly with respect to the representation of consumer product, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and energy clients.
Lisa serves as National Discovery Counsel for large corporations. She provides advice and counsel over the entire spectrum of the EDRM, including preservation, collection, review, and production.
Lisa has managed the discovery process in a wide variety of matters, including product liability and government investigations by Congressional Committees, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, various state Attorneys General, the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Drug and Administration, and United States Department of Justice.
Lisa has also served as a member of the executive board of directors for VSA arts of Georgia, a non-profit arts organization affiliated with the Kennedy Center dedicated to providing arts opportunities for persons with disabilities.
