
Lori Albert focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions. Her experience includes the representation of real estate developers, purchasers, sellers, investors, and lenders in various complex commercial real estate transactions with emphasis in retail, multifamily, industrial, office, and urban and infill development.
She also represents public and private national healthcare systems in real estate development and joint-venture projects, leasing, and mergers and acquisition transactions and guides her clients through the regulatory environment regarding their real estate transactions, particularly compliance with the federal Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.
In addition to her real estate practice, Lori is an active member of Akerman’s Cannabis Practice, which provides counsel to clients on the complex legal and business issues impacting companies with interests in the medical and adult-use cannabis industries.
