With a practice that focuses on insurance coverage and other insurance-related litigation, Louis Kozloff — a skilled counselor who combines advocacy with sound business judgment — represents insurance companies in coverage issues and bad faith disputes, including commercial general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, and first-party property claims.
Lou also defends complex liability claims for insureds and has nearly two decades of experience in the insurance sphere. He serves the firm as a leader of the GIS Pennsylvania Team.
Lou has also served as Vice President and Chief Litigation Counsel for a large insurance company, where he oversaw all litigation, handled class action litigation involving claims practices and regulatory matters, and specialized in claims matters involving coverage and extra-contractual exposure.
He also advised the company’s claims department regarding coverage matters and extra-contractual liability, and worked closely with outside counsel in developing litigation strategy and arguments.
