M. Angie Castille serves as a seasoned international general counsel, partnering with companies to plan and implement their international growth, transactions and trade. For those doing business in emerging markets, she guides them through the maze of managing risk, resolving challenges and operating ethically in those jurisdictions.
Angie co-chairs Faegre Baker Daniels’ corporate international practice and firmwide international team, a cross-disciplinary group of lawyers and consultants who advise clients on international legal and regulatory issues.
Angie counsels public and private companies, partnerships, joint ventures, offshore companies and other business entities on international transactions and general business matters, including : Share and asset acquisitions, Contract manufacturing, Licensing transactions.
Angie also counsels clients on compliance with trade regulations, including product classifications, compliance programs and policies, and licensing and voluntary self-disclosures with BIS, OFAC and DDTC.
Angie’s in-house experience strengthens her client perspective. From August 1999 through May 2000, she served as associate general counsel at Holy Cross Health System Corporation and was involved in the combination of Holy Cross Health System Corporation with Mercy Health Services to form Trinity Health Corporation. She currently serves on the investment advisory and stewardship committees of the Sisters of the Holy Cross.
