Macy Climo is an associate in the Nashville office who focuses her practice on general litigation and government contracts. Ms. Climo counsels companies in litigation involving business disputes, and advises not-for-profit and governmental entities on the laws, regulations and procedures relating to eligibility for federal disaster and mitigation assistance.
In her work assisting state and local governments and non-profit entities to navigate the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Public Assistance program, Ms. Climo analyzes, monitors and evaluates past procurements and contracts, and works to improve and monitor future procurement and contracting systems.
When clients face de-obligation of funding, Ms. Climo calls upon her knowledge of the Stafford Act, applicable state laws, federal regulations, and published policies to draft administrative appeals on behalf of clients.
