Madhu Pocha represents domestic and international clients in high-stakes disputes. He represents a broad range of individuals and companies, including video game developers, movie studios, satellite radio providers, airlines, and computer chip manufacturers. He also maintains a pro bono practice with a focus on First Amendment and immigrant rights.
Madhu has led teams at all stages of litigation, from pre-dispute investigations to jury trials to appeals. Recent successes include managing a trial team that won a unanimous and historic jury verdict in a complex antitrust case and arguing a religious freedom case before the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit that resulted in a complete reversal.
He approaches litigation by first learning a client’s business and objectives before crafting creative solutions that lead to cost-effective results.
Madhu worked as a consultant on projects for the US government concerning the Internet, new media, and social networking before joining O’Melveny.
