Mahira Khan is a financial services and probate litigation associate in Baker Donelson’s Fort Lauderdale office. Ms. Khan primarily represents banks, commercial and residential mortgage lenders and servicers, and other financial institutions in litigation related to breach of contract issues, defaults, foreclosure, title curative and related matters.
In addition to active litigation, she works on pre-litigation settlement stages and handles post-judgment collection work when necessary. Ms. Khan is also experienced in probate litigation and ancillary probate litigation matters, representing personal representatives in the administration of Florida estates. Her experience has also included immigration and family law.
While in law school, Mahira served as a student attorney at the Health, Ethics, Law and Policy Clinic, interned at the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida with the Honorable Judge Sarah Zabel, and interned as a legal editor with the Bloomberg BNA Patent, Trademark, & Copyright Journal.
