Maire Dempsey

Maire A. Dempsey is a Partner of Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd. She represents clients in a wide variety of insurance defense matters, focusing on medical malpractice defense, nursing home defense and trucking defense. She has extensive experience in defending physicians, medical groups, nurses and hospitals.

She practices in both state and federal court and has tried several cases to verdict on behalf of her clients. She joined the firm in 2015. Ms. Dempsey received her undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law.

She serves on the volunteering committee for the Syrian Community Network assisting refugees in the Chicagoland area. Ms. Dempsey has also been a volunteer attorney at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago assisting clients in employment, credit, domestic relations and housing issues.
