Mallary A. Lerner begins every morning with a cup of coffee and a fresh copy of the Bond Buyer. She knows the financial rules and standards for banks, underwriters and other issuers are constantly changing, just as the standards for governments, non-profits and other borrowers regularly shift. She tracks these and other trends in order to better serve her clients.
She focuses her practice on public finance. She joined the firm in 2016 after clerking for two years for a Denver District Court judge. She works primarily on financing projects with governments, including counties and housing authorities, and non-profits such as schools, colleges, senior living centers and hospitals.
Mallary works closely with these clients to understand their financing needs and determine the best way to fill them. She also works closely with banks, underwriters and other counsel to ensure a successful closing for every transaction.
