Manja Sachet is a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, where she leads the Seattle and Austin technology transactions practice. Manja focuses on intellectual property and technology matters in commercial and strategic corporate transactions. She advises early-stage start-ups to Fortune 100 companies in a broad range of industries, including cloud computing, software-as-a-service (SaaS), enterprise software, e-commerce, video games and other digital entertainment, consumer Internet and mobile apps, on-demand services, connected devices and platforms, consumer hardware products, semiconductors, financial technology, energy-as-a-service, grid modernization, and clean energy technologies.
In addition, Manja teaches start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs about IP fundamentals, including at the University of Washington Technology Management MBA Program, the La Kretz Innovation Campus (LACI) in Los Angeles, the Texas Growth Capital Forum in Austin, and the Cyclotron Road incubation program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. She also actively counsels pro bono clients, and she is a member of WSGR’s Education and Career Development committees.
Manja began developing her business acumen in roles at technology companies before she attended law school. She spent five years at RealNetworks as a licensing and contract specialist in the legal department and as a program manager in the developer relations group. Prior to RealNetworks, Manja lived in Istanbul, Turkey, where she did business development for one of Turkey’s largest Internet service providers.
