Marc also resolved a case on behalf of Kyocera after successfully moving for judgment on the pleadings that the asserted patent related to error-checking telecommunications technology was invalid for lack of patentable subject matter.
He frequently represents Japanese clients, such as Kyocera, Nikon, and Sharp. Other representative clients include Cree, Freescale Semiconductor, IBM, Motorola, Nokia, OmniVision, SanDisk, and Texas Instruments.
Marc has substantial experience litigating cases in popular jurisdictions for patent cases, including the Eastern District of Texas, the District of Delaware, the Western District of Wisconsin, and the Northern District of Illinois. He published an annotated version of the Local Patent Rules for the Northern District of Illinois.
