Marc Douglas Glenn has extensive experience representing clients in all areas of real estate, lending and corporate finance, including in the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, leasing, subleasing, workout and foreclosure of commercial, office, retail, industrial and multifamily real estate.
As part of his practice, Mr. Glenn also represents and advises clients in complex bond financing transactions (including bonds-for-title and sale/leaseback transactions), the corporate structuring of entities (including non-profits and supporting organizations), and all aspects of real estate held or utilized for educational purposes.
Mr. Glenn’s clients include Fortune 100 companies, global financial institutions, nationwide apartment developers, national outdoor advertising companies, state educational institutions and cooperative organizations, as well as local retail and industrial developers.
Prior to joining Taylor English, Mr. Glenn was a member of Powell Goldstein LLP (now Bryan Cave LLP).
Mr. Glenn serves on the Executive Committee at Taylor English, and is also co-chair of the Real Estate, Lending and Corporate Finance and the Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy practice groups.
Mr. Glenn was appointed by the government of the Republic of Iceland as consul, and he currently serves in this diplomatic post. In this capacity, he serves Icelandic citizens in Georgia and the surrounding states, assisting in various matters related to immigration and local laws.
In addition, he represents the government of Iceland at international and business events in Georgia and around the United States.
