Marc Jeremy Soss started his legal career in 1993, practicing in the states of Connecticut, Florida and Rhodes Island. He worked with several national firms before starting his boutique law firm which now has offices in Sarasota FL and Lakewood Ranch FL. One of his major aims is to provide legal expertise at affordable rates to his clients.
As a combat veteran, he served active duty in Kuwait, Norfolk, Afghanistan, VA and Djibouti. He is a retired U.S. Navy Supply Corps Officer. He is an active volunteer at the Sarasota Family Court Veteran Pro Bono Initiative.
He is a recipient of many awards. In 2006, he was awarded the Clayton B. Burton Award for the “Demonstration of Character and Leadership in Promoting Legal Services to Military Personnel serving in Florida” from the Florida Bar Military Affairs Committee. In 2006-2007, he contributed to the Congressional committee on National Guard and Reserves on tax issues. He received a Pro-Bono award from Collier county Bar Association in 2009 for his legal services to Florida Veteran. The Association of United States Navy awarded him the National Award of Merit in 2010.
