
Marc Brown focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation. His experience includes litigation pertaining to real property title claims defense and coverage matters, real property tax certiorari proceedings, contractual disputes, personal injury, and collection enforcement.
In addition, he has experience in professional liability matters relating to commercial and residential real estate transactions. He has extensive appellate experience and is a former judicial clerk in the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, Fourth Department.
Marc is actively involved in a number of civic organizations. He is currently the Treasurer for the Va’ad HaKashrut of Buffalo, and a Committeeman for the Town of Amherst Republican Committee.
Marc received his bachelor of arts and master of business administration degrees from the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he currently serves as a member of the National Law Advisory Council Steering Committee.
Marc received his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. From 1998–1999, Marc served as president of the school’s Moot Court Board, as executive editor of the Human Rights Law Review, and as a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Board. During law school, he clerked at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York, and with the Hon. William M. Skretny, U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
In addition, Marc interned for the school’s Institute for Local Governance and Regional Growth to develop the first progress report of its State of the Region Project. He currently serves as president of the University at Buffalo Law School Alumni Association Board of Directors.
