With more than two decades of experience in U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law, Maria “Marisa” I. Casablanca represents corporate clients and individuals in obtaining immigration assistance and benefits. She is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by The Florida Bar, and was a member of The Florida Bar’s Certification Committee for Immigration and Nationality Law. She has also served on national liaison committees with USCIS and the Department of State.

She has also filed writs of mandamus with the Southern District of Florida. Additionally, Marisa advises employers on compliance procedures and represents employers before Immigration and Customs Enforcement with respect to audits.

She also counsels individuals on how to maintain their status in the United States and assist them in planning their permanent residence in the United States. Clients refer to her as the attorney of hard cases as she is able to think out of the box and apply innovative strategies.
