Mark L. Alderman is the chairman of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, working with clients to advocate their interests with lawmakers, executive branch officials and regulatory personnel in local, state, and federal government.
Among his recent public and professional affiliations, Mark is or has been a member of the 57th Electoral College, Democratic National Committee National Finance Committee (Pennsylvania chair), the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Team, the Presidential Inaugural Committee, the Obama for America National Finance Committee, the United States Attorney Nominating Commission, the Judicial Selection Commission for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Kerry for President National Finance Committee (co-chair), and the Advisory Board of Philadelphia International Airport (chair).
An active and involved member of his community, Mark is or has been a member of the Advisory Board of Directors of the National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institute, the Board of Directors of the NASDAQ Futures Exchange, the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, the Board of Trustees of Thomas Jefferson University (chair, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Inc., board of trustees), the Board of Trustees of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (chair of the School Committee), the Board of Trustees of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation; the Board of Directors of WXPN-FM, the Board of Directors of the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center of Philadelphia, the original Board of Directors of Living Beyond Breast Cancer; and the American Jewish Committee, Philadelphia Chapter.
