Before founding Evans Law Offices, PLLC, in 2015, Mark served with the United States Air Force JAG Corps for eight years as a Trial Judiciary Attorney, Military Justice Attorney and Assistant Staff Judge Advocate.
In these roles, Mark performed a variety of duties ranging from drafting rulings on matters involving national security and the law of war to creating wills and powers of attorney for members of the military.
Prior to his service with the armed forces, he worked as a Deputy County Attorney in Yuma and Coconino Counties, going on to serve for four years as the Assistant Arizona Attorney General, where he prosecuted cases ranging from homicides to methamphetamine labs and coordinated Arizona’s Drug Endangered Children (DEC) program.
He also practiced criminal defense with a law firm in Flagstaff. He has also lectured statewide to audiences of prosecutors, police detectives and officers, child protective services professionals and the medical community.
