Mr. Matney is a graduate of the UALR Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is a retired Army veteran who has spent nearly 3 decades serving his country working for and with federal, state, and local governments.
Soon after retiring from active military service Mr. Matney worked as a police officer for the city of Sherwood, Arkansas. Mr. Matney understands what serve and sacrifice means.
He brings his military, government, and police experience to the practice of law. Whether it is representing a criminal defendant, helping clients negotiate family and domestic matters, or guiding them through the bureaucracy of the federal government his clients are in good hands.
In addition to earning his Juris Doctor from UALR Bowen School of Law, Mr. Matney also holds a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Central Baptist College, Conway, Arkansas.
Mr. Matney is an active member of Sherwood First Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon and bible teacher.
