Mark Pavkov is an attorney in the Litigation and Labor and Employment practice groups at MacDonald Illig. Mr. Pavkov concentrates his practice primarily on commercial litigation and employment litigation, representing business entities, municipalities, and individuals in both federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings.
Mr. Pavkov’s litigation experience includes complex and multiparty litigation and matters involving breach of contract claims, Uniform Commercial Code sales disputes, business torts, fiduciary obligations, tortious interference with business relationships, shareholder and partnership disputes, Lanham Act claims, claims of civil conspiracy and aiding and abetting tortious activity, and requests for injunctive or other equitable relief.
Mr. Pavkov also represents clients in non-compete litigation and other employment litigation, including claims brought under Title VII, the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law, and other federal and state statutes.
Mr. Pavkov also handles matters on behalf of governmental entities and businesses involving issues under Title II and Title III of the ADA, including accessibility requirements under the ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) and the Public Rights of Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG).
Mr. Pavkov received his J.D., summa cum laude, graduating first in his class with a 4.0 G.P.A. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. While in law school, Mr. Pavkov worked as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Karen Nelson Moore of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, served as contributing editor on the Law Review, and was a member of the National Moot Court Team. Prior to joining MacDonald Illig, Mr. Pavkov practiced law at Jones Day in Cleveland, Ohio from 2007 through 2011.
Mr. Pavkov is licensed to practice in all Pennsylvania and Ohio courts and in federal courts within Pennsylvania and Ohio, and has been admitted pro hac vice to numerous other federal and state courts across the country in specific cases.
