
Marshall B. Bellovin focuses his practice in areas like employment law, insurance, and securities & investment fraud. Attorney Bellovin has the license to practice law in New York State, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York, and the Western District of Michigan. He regularly appears before federal & state appellate and trial courts, different types of governmental agencies & departments, arbitration & mediation tribunals.
He has secured the membership of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Labor and Employment Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, and the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association.
Marshall Bellovin went to the University of North Carolina and obtained his Bachelor’s of Arts degree. He later attended the New York University to earn his Master’s of Arts degree. He completed his Juris Doctorate from the New York Law School. He served on the Moot Court Team while studying there.
Before joining his current law firm in 1994, he headed the Law Offices of Marshall B. Bellovin from 1991 to 1994. He has also served as a litigation attorney at the law firm, Deutsch & Frey. He also worked at an insurance defense litigation firm Hendler, Murray & Malt, P.C. in New York City.
Marshall Bellovin serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Yeshiva University- Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law since 1998. He has also served as a founder, Assistant Director and Lecturer in the Urban Legal Studies Program. He was also a lecturer at the New York Law School and Center for Legal Education of the City College of New York.
